Dr. Sandra Boenig is board certified in General Surgery and has specialized training in breast and advanced minimally invasive surgeries.

Dr. Boenig has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. She completed both her Internship and Residency at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Boenig began her practice at Uvalde Medical and Surgical Associates in October of 2010.
